Dalek Mod Update 57 - Judoon & Gallifrey overhaul
Update 57, otherwise known as "The Survival Update", was an update released on 17th of May 2020. It featured an overhaul of Gallifrey as well as survival-friendly additions and existing feature modifications. The update also marked the departure of developer Ed, and the return of rainbowdestiny.

Update Video[]
The update video was a parody of the Gravity Falls episode "Not What He Seems"
Plot:
The video starts with Matt explaining some of the new features, before moving to John trying to explain the Dalek Pumpkin to a crowd of people. Matt then shows off Josia's update to Regeneration and the new grace period. then introduces RedDash and Luke before it goes back to John still trying to explain the pumpkin. Matt then reminds the viewers of UDWF1 getting shot, to which RedDash apologises for, and Khotarri disappearing in the update after, then says he hopes they don't lose anyone else, just before Ed appears, saying he's foreshadowing, then shows off the new ability to fly in the TARDIS.
It then cut to Luke telling the others the story of an incident on set during the filming of the Sylvester McCoy story "Battlefield". Matt gets annoyed that Luke only speaks about the Seventh Doctor, to which Luke replies astonished that there are other Doctors. John says he has something to tell the team, but is interrupted by Ed bursting in saying police are coming. Matt runs to the window to find Judoon coming.
The Judoon enter the shack and arrest John on the accusation of stealing the Moment. RedDash tries to convince them not to but this fails. Matt has the idea of going to Gallifrey to find the Moment to prove John is innocent. RedDash tells the viewers about some stuff he added before Matt interrupts him saying only he's allowed to talk to them, before also showing some stuff he added. RedDash interrupts him terrified, yelling about something coming down from the sky, which turns out to just be snow.
Matt shows off some new ores on Mars before we go to John being put into his cell. The Judoon list various crimes John has comitted. Matt and RedDash arrive at the Barn to realise the Moment actually is gone. Matt asks RedDash to check the blocklogs whilst he looks for evidence. Matt finds a journal and learns that the same Timeless Child could be born twice. The Judoon refuse to let John out, but once they leave Ed breaks a whole in the wall and gives him the materials to make a pickaxe to break the Azbantium door and escape. John escapes in a teleport and the Judoon corner Ed. RedDash finds John actually did take the Moment and hid it in the shack.
The Judoon sentence Ed to death for assisting John in escaping, but it cuts away before he's actually killed. Matt and RedDash arrive to Luke guarding a machine. He refuses to move until RedDash distracts him by saying Sylvester McCoy on a train is outside. Matt and RedDash enter John's machine to find an underground lab. A portal attacthed to the Moment is about to open in one minutes. Matt activates an overide and is about to shut down the machine when John runs in yelling at him to stop. They argue but are interrupted when the portal opens.
Matt and John are pinned to the wall as RedDash is by the machine. Matt tries to convince RedDash to turn the machine off and close the portal, whilst John tries to convince him not to. In the end, RedDash decides to trust John and lets the portal fully activate. A girl exits from the portal, the "long lost member of the Dalek Mod team" ...rainbowdestiny (Khotarri).
Luke runs back in as a dimension begins to leak into this world. The video ends on the cliffhanger of Matt demanding John tell him what's through the portal as the Cybermen's theme begins to play.
Trivia[]
- This was the first update video since Update 37 to have featured all SWDTeam members in a main role as themselves.
- This video was Ed's final video as a Developer. His death was deliberately not shown, to leave the possibility of him coming back in the future, which he did as a one of in Update 60.
- This video included the surprise return of SWDTeam member rainbowdestiny as a Developer, who hadn't been seen since Update 37, who had been unknowingly to the community, been in the discord server for two weeks prior to the release of the update video.
