Update 48 taken over by Zygons in Dalek Mod!!
Update 48 was released on 1 July 2018 for Minecraft 1.12.2
The update video showcased the re-added Zygons and 1WTC and Didgeridoomen meeting in real life. It was the first update to have a proper survival regeneration mechanic.
The video suffers from an audio error, with one of the audio layers being majorly out of sync.
The video is currently privated due to Matt deciding to no longer show his IRL face.

The update that nearly killed The Dalek Mod[]
Update 48 is often regarded by the SWDTeam and a large part of the community to be one of the worst updates in the mod's history due to a bad release, overwhelming amount of bugs and patches, and a lot of DMU Staff leaving after the release of the update.
After the apparant death of friend Timelord Gamer, it was announced on September 2018 by 1WTC that the Dalek Mod would be ceasing development and that Update 48 would be the final update for the mod. Furthermore, Dalek Mod Universe's servers would be shut down in the following months. However, several days later, on 11th September 2018, John announced he changed his mind.
Due to these events, Update 48 ended being up the only update released in 2018, with Update 49 not being released until nearly a year later in June 2019.
