Time Travel in Minecraft, released April 11th 2015, was a mini update video, that acted as a prequel to the Update 39 video.

Plot[]
The video starts with a recap of Sam's death from the previous video, panning up to the large tower behind him, before going to the SWD Ident. Matt then shows off the Vortex Manipulator, going to different Minecraft versions: Cave Game, Infdev, Beta (where he explodes Cows with explosive baubles), then returns to the Overworld, ending up at the top of the tower right before Sam was killed. He tries to save Sam, before finding out it was actually RedDash who killed him, and not Khotarri as he originally believed.
