SWDTeam

The SWDTeam (pronounced as "swood-team") are the group that own the Dalek Mod, consisting currently of 5 members. They also have been known for creation of some small video games, YouTube videos, and other Minecraft mods such as the War of The Worlds Mod. (Note that the Dalek Mod itself is also further worked on by those in it's development team, or "Dalek Mod Team.")

Founded on December 23rd, 2013 by members 1WTC and RedDash16, SWDTeam continued for 7 years (now present day). As of 2021 the team is still active with it's community most notably through "Dalek Mod Universe" Minecraft servers and their public Discord group, "SWD Community."

Founder and Creator of the SWDTeam and Dalek Mod. John is the lead coder for Dalek Mod, mainly it's core systems. He also often contributes to the assets in the mod. John is known as a collector of antique items, mainly consisting of Doctor Who products, vintage Pepsi, LEGO and various old tech.

Co founder/creator of the SWDTeam. Originally the Dalek Mod's bug tester, RedDash16 is one of the mod's lead coders and focuses primarily on survival game aspects. He has a love for the Daleks and is also co-creator of SWDTeam's second Sci-Fi mod, the War of the Worlds Mod. He was also previously known as "johnjohn24"

Youtuber02 (Luke Ryan)[]

Asset creator and VA member of SWDTeam. Luke was the Dalek Mod's first member with focus on model making. He also is the voice actor for the majority of Dalek and other alien voices in the mod. Luke is a long time Doctor Who fan known for his love of the 7th Doctor and also trains.

Lead artist and programmer for SWDTeam. Mae originally joined with Luke to work on the mod's assets and also music. After rejoining the team, she also began programming too alongside the others. She is also the other co-founder of the War of the Worlds Mod alongside RedDash16. She is also mute so uses a TTS voice in update videos. She was also previously better known as "Khotarri".

Didgeridoomen (Matt Moore)[]

Video creator and programmer for the Dalek Mod. Matt is another long time Doctor Who fan but also of Dalek Mod, having used it long before joining development. Matt originally joined SWDTeam as the mod's main video maker, but later on joined in programming too. He is known for hating cows and constantly being referred to as German.

Originally the second member of the Dalek Mod's development team, Sam used to create the main videos for Dalek Mod alongside occasional asset creation. Most of his videos are no longer available. He is also known for the half-showcase/half-adventure plot in those videos.

Trivia[]

The "SWD" in SWDTeam does not have an official meaning and was just inspired by the Special Weapons Daleks.

There is no "correct" way to pronounce "SWDTeam" but most people pronounce it as "swood"
