A Cybermat is a mouse-like version of the Cybermen, that provides a deadly electrical shock to the victim by leaping up at them and biting them. They first appeared in Tomb of the Cybermen, then appeared in Wheel in Space and Revenge of the Cybermen, then were absent until their latest appearance in Closing Time.

Cybermats act similar to Silverfish, chasing and attacking the player. They can be found on and around Cybermen spaceships on the Moon. There is also a rare chance that a Cybermat will spawn when a Cyberman is killed.
