The Dalek Mod API was an add-on to Dalek Mod which allowed users to create their own Daleks and see them in-game.
Usage[]
As of Update 38.5, the Dalek Mod API allowed Players to customize their Daleks in a variety of ways. Firstly, Players could give their Daleks custom names, choose between the selection of Dalek model types available, and choose a custom color for their Dalek's Spawn Egg.
Players could also choose between a large selection of sounds, used for when the Dalek was attacked (voice line and hitting sound), when the Dalek was attacking (voice line and shooting sound), when the Dalek died, and when the Dalek was idle.
Furthermore, players could choose how much Attack Damage the Dalek would deal, how fast the Dalek would move, how many Health Points the Dalek would have, and whether the Dalek would have the ability to "Temporal Shift" (emergency teleport) and/or "Raid" (break down doors, etc).
Finally, players could create a custom texture for their Dalek. They would have to use a separate program for this (such as MS Paint), and would then need to upload their custom texture image into the API.
Once all of this customization was complete, Players could press the "Save" button to add their new Dalek into their Minecraft file directory. Once prompted by the API, Players could launch Minecraft and then check out their new, custom Dalek in-game.

Trivia[]
Dalek Mod community member Henrik used the Dalek Mod API to create the original Pink Fluffy Dalek design, after being inspired by an old Skype status of Didgeridoomen's saying "♫ Pink Fluffy Daleks dancing on Rainbows ♫".
